Berat is famous for its well-preserved architectural style that combines Byzantine, Ottoman, and Albanian elements. The Castle of Berat is the highlight of the town, a massive fortress that dates back to the 4th century BC, which offers stunning views and home to several churches, museums, and galleries.

ITINERARY

• Pick-up from hotel and transfer to Berat (approx. 1.30h)
• Upon arrival in Berat, meet your tour guide who will lead the tour for approx. 2.30/3 hours, depending on the pace of the group)
• Visit Berat Castle and the Museum of Iconography Onufri (Optional)
• Visit the quarters of Gorica and Mangalem
• Free time for lunch, souvenirs purchase etc. (approx. 2h)
• Meet the driver at the starting point and head back to Durres in the late afternoon
