Tirana, the vibrant capital city hosts c. 1/3 of the total of Albania population. Therefore, it has inevitably gone through many changes in lifestyle and urban living. It is the place where the tradition meets the modern, from the skyscrapers to old museums and squares. Our trip to Tirana is designed for you to feel the transformation of a country which has been closed to the world under the communism era till the 90’, and is now boosting its cultural, economic, political environment.

ITINERARY

• Pick up from hotel
• Transfer to Tirana and meeting with the tour guide in Skenderbeg Square
• Visit BunkArt, an original bunker of the communism era transformed into a museum to give a feeling of what life used to be under the regime (self-guided)
• Walk through main roads, buildings, the famous "Bllok" neighbourhood, Tirana Castle
• Afterwards you will have a couple of hours of free time to enjoy the vibe of the city and have lunch and drinks or do some shopping (we will provide a list with best spots in the city and recommendations)
• Get back to the starting point to meet the driver and head back to Durres in the late afternoon

Guests can cancel free of any charge at least 24 hours in advance the tour start time.
